Our members power the League of Women Voters at the local, state, and national level. Your membership gives us the resources necessary to build a voice for citizens and be a force for change. Membership is open to everyone, age 16 and above.

Individual Membership

Our recommended basic membership level is $75.

Your membership dollars are split and fund all levels of the League:
• your local LWV of Greater Peoria (20%)
• the LWV of Illinois (47%)
• LWV U.S. (33%).

Those with limited income are eligible for a discounted membership of $20 minimum. 

There is no household level with the new system implemented in 2025.  Persons from the same household might choose to pay $75.00 for the first member and a lesser amount for the second member.  ​

Matching Gift Organization
